Our bias tapes work equally well on cotton and silk; they are satin and easier to apply than cotton.

Method :
Calculate the circumference of your circle:
circumference = diameter × 3.14, then add 1 cm margin.
Since a lampshade has two circles, multiply the result by 2.

Example :
For a cylindrical lampshade with a diameter of 20 cm :
20 × 3.14 = 62.8 cm
62.8 + 1 = 63.8 cm for a circle
63.8 × 2 = 127.6 cm of bias in total.

You will need approximately 128 cm of bias binding.

For a conical lampshade with a diameter of 20 cm at the bottom and 15 cm at the top:
20 × 3.14 = 62.8 cm
62.8 + 1 = 63.8 cm for the upper circle

15 × 3.14 = 47.10 cm
47.10 cm + 1 = 48.10 cm

You will need approximately 112 cm of bias binding.

No, it is not possible to mix the colors of different boxes together.

Yes. The kits can be used directly as ready-to-distribute materials for each participant. They contain everything needed to make a laminated lampshade. The fabric is included and can be chosen by you in advance.

Maison Cossettini specializes in cylindrical and conical shapes, intended exclusively for laminated lampshades .

To ensure all the equipment fits in the case:

• the diameter of the circles (hand games) must not exceed 35 cm ;
• The height of the polyphane (and the template) is limited to 35 cm .

The kits are designed with a specific format. Beyond 35 cm, the elements no longer fit properly in the box and therefore cannot be presented as a ready-to-create kit.

Yes, you can order materials in larger sizes, but ready-to-create kits cannot be supplied for these larger sizes.
